Overview: This very fetching VW Polo Gti was given a great start in life by being treated with our New Car Detail. Using products from world class manufacturers (Swissvax, Wolfs, Einzett, 3M etc) this is a very comprehensive protection detail. The Polo was detailed at 700 miles on the clock and had previously been dealer treated with Autoglym sealant (FOC) prior to delivery. There was little evidence of beading/sheeting to show for this though. Clay-barring showed evidence of quite a lot of contamination for such a new car. We can only assume that the Autoglym sealant was scantily applied over a less than 100% clean surface.

Interior: Flex (3M Scotchguard)

Protection: Wolfs Bodywrap Sealant + Swissvax Shield Wax

Cleansing process: Car snowfoamed with VP Orange Pre-wash, rinsed and then hand-washed.  Paintwork de-tarred with VP Citrus Tar Remover then clay-barred with Sonus Ultra-fine Clay (lubricated with VP Bling). All Glass clay-barred with Sonus Ultra-fine clay.  Paintwork then wiped down with Isopropyl Alcohol, rinsed with water and re-dried.  Wheels cleaned with AS Smartwheels (face) and VP Bilberry (inners).  Wheels and exhaust tips de-tarred.

Protection process: Wolfs Bodywrap Sealant applied and buffed off.  Swissvax Shield Wax applied and buffed off.   All glass sealed with Wolfs Glass Sealant.  Wheels sealed with Swissvax Autobahn wheel wax.  Tyres treated with Swissvax Pneu tyre dressing.  Door seals treated with Einzett Gummi Pfledge.  All exterior plastics treated with G303 Aerospace Protectant.

Interior treatment: Flex 0.25 hours. Car hoovered throughout, carpets and footwells treated with 3M Scotchguard.
